Colman Domingo has become an aficionado of historical epics, having starred in both Lee Daniels’ The Butler and Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln. But Domingo isn’t known only for on-camera work. Back in 2010 he earned a Tony nomination for his role in The Scottsboro Boys on Broadway, and more recently, garnered critical acclaim for writing Wild With Happy, a play that deftly blends humor with sadness and loss.
